The relationship between the wave function and probability is shown by this program. The user begins by sketching a wave function in the Wave Function window on the screen. The program computes the corresponding probability density distribution and displays it in the Probability Density window. The user can move a cursor in either window and observe the value of the wave function and probability density displayed at the location of the cursor.
The program also computes the total probability over a region of space between two points specified by the user, by integrating the probability density distribution between those points.
